It sounds like you are having a fuel flow issue. Either your fuel line is pinched (very common), or, there is dirt in the float needle. What is happening is that it will start up on the fuel in the float bowl, but, quickly burns it up and quits. I will hazard a guess that it will start up and do the same thing after sitting a while! Check the fuel line routing first. One owner noticed, after fighting with it for a month, that th fuel line was clamped to the frame using a zip tie. It was the zip tie that was crushing the fuel line!
All well tuned 2 strokes will rev up when the fuel supply runs out; that is why it seems to want to move on its own just before quitting. |
