It's hard to say when so many things have been changed at once, an old trick is to change one thing at a time, and after you get one item installed and working move on to the next.

If at all possible (Starting with whatever is easiest) I would change one part at a time back to stock, that way when the bike starts to run again you'll know what part was at fault.

Nick.

my stock carb is broken and the only other things are psiton etc thats too big to strip it back to stock. Do you recommend using instant gasket sealer? ive used it on sum parts but no tthe head just the copper gasket is the copper gasket ok without sealant?

Did you put a BBK or high comp head kit and have you calculated and verified the squish setting of the engine after it was reassembled??

Yes i sent it to boosted(sam) and he spec'd it all up for me. So i dont think thats the issue as he has a gd rep for this kinda thing. He suggested i may have an air leak thats why im asking about the gaskets.

it might have low compression if the gasket was bad, when you try pull starting the bike is it difficult to pull or harder to pull then usual?

like its has either no gaskets or bad ones. but it started for me a couple times. and it was intermediate to pull had spark and compression. i dont no how much compression is supposed to be. but i know it started once or twice and now it wont so i thought someone could help. its a 49cc 2 stroke.. if that helps. also when it leaks oil what can i do to fix it?...let me know everything i can do besides buy a new motor

if you know it has bad gaskets then i suggest you change all of them, buying a full gasket set for these bikes isn't that expensive. a bad gasket can lead to a intake manifold leak to low compression in the pistons causing it not to start.

when your trying to start this thing are you setting the choke to closed? and twisting the throttle to give it some gas? you mentioned a oil leak, where is it leaking from?

You added a new BBK and didnt change the coil..? Those two things kinda go hand -in -hand...Everytime I replace a topend on these small 2 stroke engines I also replace the ignition coil.

What are you using for a carb and reeds?...........

As for the ignition coil you say goes hand in hand yet its the first ive ever heard any1 mention changing ignition coil, ill give it a go if it still doesnt start. CAmm whats the best way to test that the spark plug is actually firing up?

Pull the plug, put the wire back on it, ground the plug against the cylinder, and pull the starter a couple of times. (A REAL man would just hold it in his hand ... :P j/k, don't do that, it hurts)
