Question


If I lost my key to my x15 and its in the off position will that make the bike kill out when i start it up

Yes, It will create a break (An open) in that circuit, What would need to be done is to bypass the key lock all together and connect the two proper wires and the bike would run, Then you either pull the wires apart or add a kill switch to stop the engine.

Just pull the ignition plugs apart and kickstart it.To kill it hook them back up..Hopefully youll remember where you put the key.........Peace

thanks for the help i got it to start but found out something is wrong with my carb since i switch carb with a dirtbike i have and it ran fine now i have to find why it dies out with my original carb i already took it apart to clean so im guessing its the float...any help would be nice....also my back rim is shot to hell my bolts broke in them so i made new holes but then the bolts from the new hole vibrated out and bent....so i need to buy a new back rim and good places to buy online would be a big help

Float setting is 10 degrees.....For the rear rim try scooterparts,sdscooters or X-18parts

The best and fastest way would be to eyeball your float to the float in the picture but if you want to measure it out the method is below;-sorry about the pic quality but thats what 3/4 of my pics that got recovered from my last severe harddrive crash looks like now......Good luck
