why not try and start a new thread on top speed?, this is created so that members may post information about their bikes, and their mods, and TOP SPEED!!! i love this sport, and i've only been in it for about two days, lol.
Thread about this already exsists pocketbikes/15038-how-you-got-your.html?highlight=post+top+speed" target="_blank">http://www.pocketbikeplanet.com/82-a...post+top+speed
Most people lie about top speed or use amazingly unreliable methods to measure it.
not to be mean ill just state what i have
125cc GPX motor with 22mm carburator and stock ported exhuast
18 front sprocket a x12s rear 32 sprocket
top speed is over 60mph but not sure of its exact number
other bike x15
other brand 125cc
15 front sprocket 38 rear
topend is around 56 mph
finnaly i am able to post on my own thread, i've taken my stock x-18 to around 48mph, i am going to buy a 18 tooth counter sprocket, and an 22 tooth rear, with that combination i will prob kill the acceleration, but i will easily top out at around 70mph, all fairings have been stripped from my x-18 to be painted, and i plan to add a big bore kit, boost bottle, 26mm carb, drill the exaust, and a new bigger air filter, imagin the possibilities then!, lol.
even with the engine mods?, i should have close to twice the stock power, and the gearing combination that i plan on adding is supposebly going to cut the acceleration to 45% of what it is already (before the engine mods), lol, ive calculated the ratio of what it is now, and compared it to the ratios that i plan on adding, the numbers say that idealy it shoul go 99mph (but yeah right!, maybe in a vacume) so it might be able to surpass the 80mph mark? should i add new tires meant for those high rpms? b/c im afraid if i take those little tires that fast, that they might shread? scarryness. if i dont post for three days straight, it means that i crashed, and im dead. lol

a tuned 110cc motor will not be able to pull these gears im telling you my 125cc motor has twice as much power as your 110 and it still has a hard time pulling 4th gear
let me find a video of my bike speeding and its only in third gear in this long stretch
not sure about this but once my motor gets the big bore kit to be 146cc and if its good for pulling i think im leaveing the gearing to that for now on or im gonna have a spare rim for topend runs newpics-3.flv - Video - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
yeah, been doing some thinking about what you've said x7rocks, and i'll prob keep the stock 14 tooth counter sprocket, then add the 22 tooth rear. Then maybe, just maybe, i might put the 18 tooth counter sprocket on ( after buying some big bore kit, and all the other mods i plan on doing to the bike) cool video, little shaky though, lol
yeah vary shaky
if you get a rear 22 sprocket keep the front 14 forever the reason 90gtverts x18 was going 63 and still pulling with a 22 rear sprocket
so a 22 rear should be good with the big bore kit
so from experiance stick with a 22 rear
well, to calculate an estimation, you first need to know the # of teeth on your counter sprocket and your rear sprocket. then divide the counter by your rear sprocket to get a decimal below 1. then do the same with the gearing combination you plan to put on your bike. divide the decimal from the gearing combination to be added by the combination you have already. the # should be >1. then mult. that # by the #25 (if thats your top speed) you will get a number that does not consider air drag, nor torque.
37mph just after i started it up. 41mph when it had about 10 minutes of warming up lol Its got a jetpro exhaust, dellorto carb, k&n air filter, Champion fuel filter and black widow carbon reeds.
