Hmm. Read this from WEST COAST PRODUCTS. I sent an email asking about the X18 / X18-R Nitro and all other "X18" models (WHICH ARE ALL EXACTLY THE SAME)... Read the entire thing..
www.bestpocketbikesonline.com must be false advertising.

Thank you very much for your interest. The big difference is that we don't fill our listing up with a bunch of false claims.
As for the bikes, there is NO difference at all. The X18 and the 'X18-R Nitro' are the exact same bikes, except for the fact that the 'Nitro' has a different sticker. It is a clever advertising ploy by the company that sells them as the 'Nitro.' It is a gimmick. They make false claims about the bike as well.
There is only one X18 available, and they are all exactly the same. They have the same performance, size, characteristics, and build quality. They are produced only by one manufacturer, and they only make one model of X18.
Additionally, the X18 is only available as a 2007. The '2008' X18 that you may have seen is also completely false. If you look at all the pictures of the bike on that website, you will notice that many of them are the same
photos that we have...we made the mistake of not watermarking them before putting them on
eBay last year, and they quickly were stolen (we now have all our
photos watermarked). If you look at the
photos they have claiming the 2008, you will see that most of them are the 2007 body style, and a few of them have the 2006 body style (the tiger-striped bikes). There are no new
photos.
The
photos you see with the VIN number proves the year it was built...the 10th digit is a 6, which designates that the bike shown was built in 2006. Additionally, and this is the biggest falsehood, the
photo that shows the big metal plate with the EPA/CARB info, HP, spark plug info, etc...IS NOT EVEN FROM AN X18, or ANY other Super Pocket Bike, for that matter. That plate is from a 110cc ATV.
As a warning, if you decide to buy a '2008,' don't be surprised when you open it up and see that the EPA/CARB plate is completely different, and shows 2007 on it. The VIN will also have a 7 in the 10th digit spot.
