C-1 Part out.....All the trick stuff you need

After much time and effort in to cleaning up all the bugs with my C-1, its time to pass it on to somebody else. It has MINIMAL usage. I am selling is as a parts bike because it does not run and I cannot honestly say why.
I will say, my asking price is MUCH less than I have in parts alone.

Here are the specs

Frame:

Stripped, sandblasted, primered, painted in fuel resistant enamel. Fenders/Fairings painted graphite metallic, with Fairings having black accents and mesh wire cut-out vents. The aluminum subframe was sanded partially polished and the rest painted to match fairings. Wheels primed painted to match fairings with machined lip masked off. Original China treaded tires with almost no use.

99% of the Chinese Hardware is GONE and has been replaced with name-brand hardware. Almost all visible screws are hand polished stainless steel.

Cooling system:

Radiator has custom made radiator support brackets. These were made on a press brake from aluminum, made to fit, then anodized black. No radiator jiggling problems.

All (horrible) Chinese hose clamps replaced with European style gear clamps, not the American, serrated, ruin the hose kind.

All billet aluminum parts (triple tree clamps, brackets, mounts etc.) stripped, sanded and re-anodized black. It turned out really well except a few spots here and there.

All-Metal coolant bottle assembly. Made all from copper and brass pipe fittings with an all metal cap radiator cap. Cap is readily available from ant Autoparts store.

Brakes:

Disassembled, cleaned, painted. Assembled with high temp brake grease and Dialed in Perfect-o. Except for the brake slide pins, all hardware is stainless steel on the calipers. Shimano front lever and and generic all metal lever for rear. Brake cables have no fraying and work very well.

Exhaust system: (Comes with 2)

Stock "fatty" pipe with the BMY mod of removing the belly and lengthening the stinger. Silencer tip painted and body anodized and packed with silencer media.

Stock "skinny" pipe with 25mm of belly removed, to be nearly identical to the GP3 pipe. Silencer tip painted black body anodized, does not have packing.

Engine:

New SKF crank bearings, Yamaha case seals, fiberglass reeds. Engine case reed area has been opened and oil holes for main bearings enlarged. New name brand wrist pin bearing with spacers. Piston oil hole mod. New water pump bearings, name brand water pump seal.

NGK race wire on stock coil. Stock 14/14 carb. Manifold is ready to clamp on a PHBG DS carb, just un-clamp the insert (already separated) and its ready to go.

BMY 15:1 compression dome

Note: The engine was originally assembled with the stock jug. One of the spacers on the wrist pin bearing let go and scuff the piston and cylinder. They were replaced with a GENUINE BLATA cylinder, new china piston and ring. It has never been ran with the new parts. The only evidence of the previous spacer failure are some small nicks in the combustion dome.

Lots of time effort and money in to this bike. I would like to try to sell it as a whole, as-is. If you had some time, I am sure you could make a sweet and reliable bike out of it. I just don't have the time.

$200 + shipping

If nobody takes the whole thing, then I will part it out. I will let post when I will start taking offers on parts.

Re: C-1 Part out.....All the trick stuff you need

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't get a message saying there was a post.

I don't know exactly what the "meat hook" pegs are.....it had these style pegs

HKMOTOS ONLINE SHOP - POCKET BIKE PERFORMANCE PARTS

No dampener on the bike. As the ad says engine is complete but not running.

I would take $100 plus shipping for motor and pegs.
