Newb here from Michigan!!

Hello I am somewhat a newb, as to working on small motors. So far I have built two motorized bicycles, and waiting on my third motor kit. Anyways I am a new owner of a pocket bike, lol. It drastically needs alot of work, but I got lucky and copped it for free. It's pretty much only the motor and frame that matter right? Like it is the whole bike minus the plastic that makes it look like a bike, and the seat. I got lucky though, as my nephew bought it awhile back, and broke the pull starter, he wasn't able to get it running again, so he left it lay around my sisters house. I got a call from my sister today saying that if I didn't get it out of her garage she was chucking it. OFC I went and picked it up right away. I got it and it is in surprisingly good shape other that some minor rust. I plan to take it all apart and redo it all, so I was hoping that this forum could be helpful to that kind of thing. Not sure if it is only for people who have them already and running, or if this place can help on builds. Thank you

Welcome to the forums. A free bike? Dude, good score!

Post up some pictures of your ride. You can sign up for a free account at an image hosting site like PhotoBucket or ImageShack, upload your pictures, and then post the links here.

Fairings? Who needs fairings? If you notice my avatar bike, it doesn't have 'em, either .... The seat can be fabbed up out of a piece of metal with a seat pad on it, and bolted down to the frame.
