Need Help Please

i just go this bike off a friend for free because he didnt use it any more so i am rebuilding it but i have no idea what frame it is ? ?

it had Ninja body panels on it at one point if that help at all
i really want to make this a nice fun clean bike

when start to look for my body panels would i go with these - MTA2, CAG, A2, 2G i really have no clue at all i just dont want to wast $ cuz im attending collage

and thx im really excited i love tinkering with engines i cant wait to get it running

I picked up one of my best bikes off a college kid, needed to pay off his dad .... bike was almost brand-new, too.

These bikes are REALLY easy to work on. Since you've already got the experience of tinkering, you'll do fine. There are a bunch of free-ish/cheap mods you can do to the bike, but those can wait until you have the engine running again.

When you do get the bike running, BE SAFE. That's the #1 rule around here. Don't ride on the street, take it to a nearby parking lot. Use protective gear: helmet, gloves, jacket, knee and elbow pads. (Taking a spill off one of these doing 30mph ain't no fun ...) Who knows, a few of your friends might be interested in getting one of these things, too .... more fun riding with a bunch of guys.

anyone help with parts and fitting gas tank thats what i really need

you can find stock parts on ebay . are you wanting to get a tank for it first ? i would get the plastic body last

yeah i am going to get the body panels last but i want a gas tank that fits the frame

and if i get the tank now later down the road once i get my body panels i still want to tank to fit nice and good like with the body

Hmmm .... their picture isn't showing .... but it DOES say a six-sided tank, so I'm pretty sure that's the one you're after. Your bike is technically an MT-A2, so anything that is for that bike would fit.

Here's the tank from SC4L ... is that the same as the one you were looking at on DDM? The picture is tilted at a strange angle, but that's the one for a FF Cag.
