Question Air Cooled C1??


was a air cooled C1 made? not with a cag motor but the same bottom end as a water cooled C1 but with a different cylinder and cylinder head with cooling fins ?Can you convert a water cooled engine to an air cooled?

Yes there is an A/C version that uses the same bottom end, I believe you can convert the W/C to air cooled, but I've not done it myself so I'm not 100% sure.

Yes they made a air cooled C1 but they was call a Firefox and another is a Sendai Tai Chi are a couple names I remember them by. Sendai Tai Chi's come with a painted frame and rims and they have a web site. You can change a water cooled to a air cooled but you can't change a air cooled to a water cooled. Because the air cooled bottom ends aren't machined all the way for the internal water pump. They also made some with the aircooled cag motor also just thought I would throw that in with this.

using that info for searches on the site and finding lots of good info.Only one question left-where can I buy one,new or used?
