Thats the backside of the CDI plug and the box with the "X" is left open without any wire..

Re: chinese wiring!?!

the thing with the x is the male molex connector that fits in the cdi
the b/w and b/r comes from the motor to the male molex

best thing is to follow the colors and try to think as simply as possible. i just made a harness for my lifan from scratch and i found myself thinking too much too often

Re: chinese wiring!?!

The diagram I made is a direct connect racing type harness and it eliminates all those troublesome chinese plugs except for the one that plugs into the CDI box........You can still use them if you want. The colors of the wires are accurate with the harness colors of your electrical system...The remaining solid yellow and solid white wires coming from the stator go to the regulator/rectifier for the charging system.....as Doc stated you only need the black/red and the blue/white coming from the stator going to the cdi to run the bike. The CDI powers the coil and also has a circuit for the killswitch when grounded...............Peace
