Exclamation HELP! Lights flickering!!!

Well I broke in my x7 bike with all electrics working but all lights flicker to the beat of the exhaust. I also added 7 sets of led lights of blue underglow that flickers the same as all stock lights. Do I need a bigger fuse or how could this be fixed?

Re: HELP! Lights flickering!!!

Does it happen all the time? How full is the charge on your battery? And does it do the same if you turn it on while it is plugged in to the wall? that last step will help to tell if it's an undercurrent problem.

Re: HELP! Lights flickering!!!

Yea it happens when i turn on the bike, they never turn off but they dim to the beat of the exhaust. I dunno I havent ran it no more than a few tanks since first break in so its pretty much brand new. Plug in to the wall? How can you plug in the bike's electrical to a house hold electric socket?

It didn't come with a Wall Charger for the battery?

All the Mid-bikes I have came with one, If you have one and plug it in while testing the lights you should notice a difference if it's a problem with the battery.

Re: HELP! Lights flickering!!!

Look to the fuel supply, The exhaust won't be what is causing the problem.

Pull the fuel line off the carb and make sure it can flow freely through the line/filter.

The charger is external, it plug's in close to where the key goes, But you might not have one.

Re: HELP! Lights flickering!!!

It's never a problem.

Next thing you could check is the "Float Bowl" (Very bottom of the carb) to make sure it's filling with fuel.
