Posting Picture Questions

I'm a new guy on the forum. Wanted to go to the shadetree section and post a question or two with a picture. Could not easily figure out how to post a .jpg picture without the implied url address? Any suggestions on posting a picture w/o having my own website? Thanks.

you could open a hosting account at Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket - its free and pretty good. just dont host porn on there or they delete it. or you could add it to the post by adding an attachment, if you have permission to do that

Members with less than 3 posts cannot post photos. It is advised that new members introduce themselves to the board and perhaps comment on a thread or two before uploading photos. The policy discourages spammers or persons not really interested in joining our community. Since you now have two posts, after acknowledging this one you'll be able to upload photos directly from your computer by hitting on the paperclip icon in the toolbar.

are you trying to attach them to a post? if you can give me some details, it might help explain why youre having problems.

yes, trying to attach them to my classified ad post "GRC - GP" in the pocketbikes for sale section. and it still says i have no permission to edit my post. thx

You will need to make a new post with photos you cannot go back and add photos to an old post. (this is so people cannot go back and change their ad after a sale) If you want an old post erased or edited you can contact any moderator (you can always find one greeting new members)

Y'all can go to an image hosting site such as ImageShack or PhotoBucket, create an account, and upload your pictures there. Copy the link that says IMG, and post it here.

As for me, why cannot Pocketbike Pictures upload an image?
