The 3rd. annual Downtown Newark Minimoto Grand Prix is a fun racing event in downtown Newark Delaware. The events main purpose it to promote Minimoto (Pocketbike) racing by holding an event in a community setting. Marco Rizzo, the event promoter, funds the entire event through his own efforts and hard work. The race fees are only $20.00, which includes an 1. All Day Race Pass; 2. Lunch 3. and an event T-Shirt. Marco has done an excellent job promoting racing in his community and has also contributed much to pocketbike racing in the USA.
Marco needs as many volunteers before the event to setup the track. We had over thirty volunteers last year and it made setup a very easy job. We will have hundred of hay-bails and barriers to be positioned. We would like to encourage as may racers to arrive early to participate. Additional information can be viewed at

Directions:
From New York: Take 95 south and follow for Baltimore until ( exit 3 Rt 273 Newark Dover) make a right toward Newark follow for 5 miles the track will be on your right after 300 yard after the Toyota dealer
From Baltimore:95 north to Exit 1 (Rt 896 Middletown), at the end of the rump make a right until the first traffic light old Baltimore pike) make a left, at the first traffic light make a left (Rt 72) preside straight for about 4 miles, you will see a post office on the left and a Toyota dealer ship, make a left at that light (Rt 273) main Street go for 300 yards the track in on the left.
