New To The Council

Ladies and Gentlemen of the PBP, I'm pleased to tell you that I have accepted the seat on the high council (of jedi riders, as our own Caglaroni puts it.lol) and am looking forward to being involved in promoting the site and improving performance (not that it really needs it), as well as helping out around the shop.

This is an honour not bestowed on the average bike nut knight. This is for the better of our PBplanet, it implies that one has skills, experience, patience, understanding, and above all a good attitude. Which in itself is an honour and a blessing.

Thanx to the Maico Shark for the nomenation and all the other PBP staff for the seat on the council, that I will try hard to be as helpfull as possible.

Now let's celebrate!!!

Sincerly, Pegdrag.

Of that I'm not sure. I did see it there during an earlier post, and not now, so maybe I'll have to sign off to have it take.

Or they changed their minds, which I doubt or at least hope not. We'll see.

"Badges? We don' need no stinking badges ..." Can anyone tell me where that quote came from?

Hey, Pegdrag, I had the title under my name for a few posts, too, but it's not there anymore, either. Guess I'm too much of a hooligan to have on the council ....

I don't know why the badges aren't working but we have 20 council members. You'll know if you're one if you can see the meeting room at the bottom of the racing associations forum. Only council members can see it.

Hey brother, I don't know if I am going blind but I don't see any meeting room so it will be kind of hard to answer any type of roll call..

You're not going blind. For some reason it is not available. The Shark will have to fix it.

Originally from the movie "The treasure of the Sierra Madre" with Humphrey Bogart. You didn't specify, but I believe it was also in a book of the same name.

BUT, most people quote it from Blazing saddles...so take your pick.

VERY good! I see there's a movie buff in the audience. Yes, Butch and Sundance in "Treasure of the Sierra Madre." And "Blazing Saddles" is STILL the bomb after all these years! "So go do that voodoo that you do so well!"

Swheels, think of it this way: at least it IS a job ...... something kinda tough to find nowadays .....

Re: New To The Council

Apparently some of the council members didn't get moved over to that group. Any member that can't see the meeting room should post here or PM me. I fixed it for you guys.

Re: New To The Council

Are you saying you PM'd me. I have no record that you accepted my invitation to join council. Certainly you are a senior member & qualified. Just send a request PM & I'll grant it. Then you'll see the council room.
