Re: Custom 140cc x19

hey, just to say, it only matters what it is and how much you want it
neither of my bikes are for sale but if i was to sell the 18 id be starting at the 2500 mark, now i know some of you are like f that but it is what it is and thats a small legal crotch rocket, i dont have quite that much in the bike but its a rare find, you cant just order what i have
the 15 of mine i spent alot more over time and is maybe worth more than the 18
what im trying to say is if you like the bike then get it, if you dont like it then move on
if you like it, it will be worth everything to you, thats prolly how brian feels
i always recommend a person do their own build just because we all have some good ideas to bring to life in the bikes

o_o What's that :P
So... should i buy a bike off frsh..?
He's already bought a 160cc oil cooled orion beast motor..
Throwing it in the shop to paint the frame.
Swheels, that motor? SicK-- Both looking, and performance-wise.
I don't have the dough to bring up that quick of a bike, but if i did, woohoo.
Is it a good idea buying a bike off frsh?
I'm afraid i might get scammed if i pay?

Re: Custom 140cc x19

lol i had just seen that 4valve motor
isnapped, if you want to get a bike from a member and build it up then go ahead, always be careful of scams (not implying anyone)
i would not get a bike shipped to me unless i was very sure of it
as for motors, the bigger the better, but smaller is ok to start out on

I'd say buy it off frsh. It sounds like a good deal. I trust him he built my bike and when i got it, it was the exact specs that i asked for.

Re: Custom 140cc x19

Dude, you should definably do the bike build yourself. You'll learn sooo much and save A lot of money. Just the labor charge is huge. Plus you will have to tune and fix your bike sooner or later. You might as well learn to do It yourself..Its much easier than you think, and we are here to help.

I would never wire 1300 to anyone, over the internet. In my opinion, a 160cc engine is a waste of money and over kill. If i were you I would buy a 125cc-140cc and install some performance parts on it...I bet you will never max it out and you'll be happy with the performance. But if you not satisfied, later on down the road drop a BBK into it and it'll be putting out just as much as a 160cc.

Like I said, the perfect solution is to get a used x18( there is plenty on craigslist) Sell the stock motor for about $150. Then get a 125cc-140cc motor, sprockets(17/28), exhaust(or stock mod), Electrical mods(CDI, Coil, NGK iridium plug), Maxxis tires, steering dampers, custom paint job. Right there you'll only be spending about $750bucks for a super Fast and nice x18. Then later on, If its not enough power(which I seriously doubt), get a BBK installed for about 185bucks...

I highly recommend the OGM, the wires match up color to color and it drops right in....Great and Fast motor...

it would save him so much time and effort to buy it though. And everything on the bike i got from frsh was professionally installed and i have no probs wit the bke yet.

It wouldn't really save me time, by the time he'd built+ ship it, i would have a stock x18 to rip on, then over time, buy items..

Really nice hearing this from someone that only has 4 posts, kind of makes me think that it's frsh trying to further convince me to buy the bike or something.

Paypal told me i'd be safe buying the bike... Is this true?

Is it worth risking 300$? Or..
140cc, I'm still thinking about getting that motor :P
I kind of want to built my own..
Frsh told me he would have the bike finished in a week.
From pretty much scratch o_o

Re: Custom 140cc x19

Well, I bought a new stock x18 from westcoastproducts for $620 through paypal. When I received the bike, the box wasn't damaged..But the bike was wrecked. The plastics were destroyed and many broken parts. I called paypal and my credit card company and they said the only way I could get my money back is if I send the bike back to them. That means I would have to spend $250+ dollars to get my money back. I would never get I bike shipped...WAY to risky...

That's also true.
If you read online about companies, well reviews.
You would notice 99.99999% Of the reviews where mentioned and tried to forward the horrific unsatisfied purchase they experienced, so you don't go through the unwilling pain and suffering of having the problems.
Which is why i immediately backed out on my purchase plan from internet sites.

yeah but if your buying from a regular person online via paypal filing claims and getting your money back is much easier...

nope sites are actually the main scammers.....and like 140ccx18 said getting your money back is much harder from a business paypal account than a personal paypal account.

A brand New motor could be broken as well. It mostly comes down to trust..
