Re: Custom 140cc x19

ya thats brians bike
that is the right gearing for 100mph but i doubt a stock 140 could do it, im not even sure if my 146 could do it and im at about 15hp, but i would be within 10-15 id guess

Re: Custom 140cc x19

Yeah, he lives in aurora. I live in burbank, il.
We've been talking for a few weeks and set the price to 1600$, And he's buying me 3 tanks of gas :P
Itss beautifulll.
I made around 1300$ From working ( under the table )
Because i'm only 15.
Blitz, nice, and i'm going to be changing up the sprockets, depending on my mood-- Stunnin/cruising.
Is there ANY way to get this babe over 100mph? :P

Honestly, in my position I would never pay $1600 for that...because I got an x18 frame for free from my friend, there is a motor I found on CL 125cc Orion base, 146cc bbk, 26mm mikuni, race cam, inner rotor kit, and oil cooler for $300. Put that motor on the frame, buy a set of x7 fairings a rear shock and tires, then BAM! you have a bike even better than this one. You can always go back and waste money on little things like winshield supports, decals, and what not but it'll never cost $1600. Basically what I'm trying to say is that if you dont have a frame and cheap motor then its not a good buy for you, but for me it is :P .......just my 2 cents

ummmm......maybe with a race cam, race head, inner rotor kit (i believe brian already has one), 160cc bbk, and 28mm carb. Same 18/22 gearing I guess.

Re: Custom 140cc x19

im guessing the price is set as 1600 cuz he put alot of work into it, its better if u work on ur own bike and ull feel better after fixing one up urself and cheaper o_O thats my opinion, i bought a messed up pit bike wit 125cc 4 speed manual for 30$ & full funtional X-19 automatic, onli cost me less then 200$, but anyways, like wut he said^^^ shouldnt cost more then 1600

Re: Custom 140cc x19

Well.. i mean i really want that bike.. And 160cc? Meaning new engine? How much does that cost? Uhm what should i tell brian to possibly lower the price
I told him 1500, he said no because of this that
Im like uhm usually used shyz sells for less than half, and 1.5 is more than half..
He told me he put 2200$ into the bike + labor... ( i think he didnt )
But whatever.. And building bikes? I never owned one, other than a motor scooter that poped 20 mph (OSNAP) and have no knowlege whatsoever on bikes, but my cousin builds 600-1000cc's so he will help me out.
Any good lines to possibly tear 100$ off the price?

Re: Custom 140cc x19

Right, i'll try to do that.
He's trying to built a new bike or something, over the winter.
Where can i purchase a 160cc bbk
And those can go on 140 cc engines? Or?
I'll probably get this bike, THEN built one myself, as i grow knowlege.
My dad thinks ima kill my self on abike thats why ima ride quick mini ones.
Hyabusa's go 240mph, and i do NOT want to kill myself on a big bike
And the one brian is selling, is SEXY asz h3ll.

Yes, I know brian's bike the 160cc bbk in this link will fit. Well if I were in your situation (dont know much about building these bikes and have the cash for brian's) I'd go ahead and buy this one because he put alot of work into it and the motor is only a few months old. Plus he had the frame and plastics professionally painted by a shop.

Links to what you might want to get:

New tires (add an inch off the ground; if I were you I'd order these now and put them on as soon as I get the bike)
Front- Maxxis M6114 Scooter Tires :: New Enough Motorcycle Hard Parts
Rear- Maxxis M6029 Scooter Tires :: New Enough Motorcycle Hard Parts

160cc bbk
Ahp Minis

Race head (not necessary but you might want to consider after getting the bbk)
Ahp Minis

28mm carb ( I dont really think it makes much of a difference than the 26mm that brian has, but I'm just throwing it out there)
Ahp Minis

Race cam (not necessary either, but you might want to consider after the bbk and race head)
Ahp Minis

The rest you're good on.

Re: Custom 140cc x19

Well, i stopped at the part where you said professionally painted at a shop... :P
I'll finish the rest soon.
He told me himself, the paintjob is crap, and he doesnt really know how to paint bikes, and wanted to "Team up" With me
Because i tag/graffiti and do artwork, and am beast.
Just a fyi, that he painted it himself, and it kind of.. well, eh.. sucks?

He posted a vid for me and his stuff is all cracked up, and he pointlessly/crapishly spray painted the swaybar and tip of his muffler-- turn off.

Hmmm then he must be a liar.....because I've one of his youtube videos, and he clearly says "the plastics are being painted at a shop".

Re: Custom 140cc x19

DANG IT.
Guys, how much is the bike worth.
I mean come on, i just looked at its current condition... YouTube - brians midbike

PRETTY SAD EH?
140cc... You sound like your right.
I mean right on the spot, when he told me what parts he had? I added them all up and came up around 1000$
I was clueless how he told me he put around 2200$ in it + labor.
I think he's just trying to get the best amount, to built a better bike than he made previously...

Guys, honestly.. How much do you think this bike is worth.. From what i listed.

Re: Custom 140cc x19

The plastics are so ugly!!!!! they're all cracked and horribly painted. Well he bought the engine along with
• Wiring harness
• High volume oil cooler and lines
• 26mm carburetor and intake
• Shifter and kick starter
• Stator
• Throttle cable and clutch cable
all for 450 brand new! everything else you listed up there along with the frame, rims, forks, and swing arm is now worth about 250. After watching that video the plastics are now worth 0 to me. So you think about it, and show him this thread.

Re: Custom 140cc x19

I did link him to the thread.. I called him up
Its just pure honesty splawting down in this thread.
I agree on the plastics.
Used to be amazingg, from my point of view.. I'm adding up the parts.. i only came up with around 1700$, new.
Used- brings price down, said his engine didnt ocme with carb and stuff, but okay, still doesnt add to 2200?

Re: Custom 140cc x19

I have the perfect solution: Your better off getting a used and running x18 for around $300bucks...Take the stock motor out, clean it and sell for around $120bucks.

Then get a 140cc motor package for around $300-400. Get sprockets for $40, Tires for $50. Exhaust Mod around $40. And what ever else you want.

That's about 600bucks for a very fast x18(better than a x19), Plus you will learn how to work on the bike( you'll definitely need to know, your bike will need fixing once and a while).

Installing a new motor isant complicated at all, The 140cc I have up for sale..Just bolts in and the wires match up color to color.

If you are interested in the 140cc OGM package I have up for sale.. Contact me via email or AIM/yahoo messenger/MSN..I have pics and we will discuss it..
