How-To: Properly Modified Intake For Boost Bottle & WT-603


Here are pictures of a properly modified intake manifold. The highlighted area is where you have to modify for the crankcase port on the WT-603 carb. The area in the rectangle is where you have to fill with JB Weld because the new carb won't cover. When filling with JB Weld do not block the hole that goes through the manifold, just fill enough to fill the area that the carb does not cover.

wow this is an old post...2004


Don't buy a boost bottle for an x18 or any other 4 stroke, they DO NOT work on 4 stroke engines, 4 strokes have intake and exhaust valves to keep the compression in the cylinder...
