need help with newly installed lifan 125

just took out the x19 on its first test ride after engine swap. everything seems pretty good

except....

either i cant find neutral or the bike just wants to keep going. i start it up with it in what i think is 0 but when i let out the clutch it starts to go not very fast but still. while riding i try to shift to 0 but no dice
it shifts fine to other gears

its one of the newer lifans with the 4 up pattern
is it spose to "half click" into neutral like the 1d 3up model?

The transmissions with the 4 up pattern go neutral,1st,2nd,3rd and 4th....What are you using for transmission oil?...Castrol 10w/40 motorcycle engine oil is one orf the better break-in oils. The chinese dont always assemble everything correctly...You may need to adjust the clutch........Peace

If you found neutral now than I would assume nothing is wrong but if the gears become hard to shift through you will need to adjust it aswell as after proper break-in not to mention that alot of times the chinese dont take the time to adjust them 100% right......

Re: need help with newly installed lifan 125

is it legal in cali to ride in parking lots
cuz i literally just got asked to "roll it back on into the garage"
this cop posts in a driveway at the three way stop T to get into my court so he can see all the way down the court.
lucky i friend of a friend of a friend know him....

ALSO i forgot to add that when i roll it around it feels like something is grabbing. checked the breaks not them
it feels like its coming from the motor

still cant hit neutral

happen me, mines a 125cc and couldnt find neutral either, i mean if its shipping smoothly then theres a way, i shift down to 1st then if i want neutral, 1/3 or 1/2 shift up to neutral, even if its more then 1/2, its gunna hop into another gear so yea try that

sumtime when the motor is off, you should be able to roll it till the gearing catches, and then roll a little back then down shift and should go into neutral
