well it would probably preform well, but it would cost you a arm and a leg. what are you looking for in a bike?

Re: opinion on pbu custom x7

they are most likly great performers but the price is crazy at $2200. i have pretty much built the same thing but im useing the pbu compressor head kit as they use the head strong. and to make a long story short i have all so converted mine to reeds and have just about every bolt on and still havent hit the $1000 mark. havent fine tuned it yet but im guessing its going to be a beast. So to rap it up save some money and just build your own!

well if you plan on just doing a mild build get a pipe, rocket key, carb, air filter, and change the gearing. now if your like me and go crazy you do everthing! balnace the crank, get a good head kit, lighten the fly wheel, get rid of the eletric start, have the wheels balanced, and run it on alcochol. thats just a quick run down there are plenty of peeps on here that no more than me.

Re: opinion on pbu custom x7

First of all don't buy a small motor and bore and stroke the hell out of it. Just Start of with a big motor! OGM 150cc $400.00 Then take all the suspension of and throw it away because its junk!!! I found a fox Vanilla mono shock for a mountain bike (2006 model) witch I found on line for only 35.00 brand new. They are nitrogen charged shocks!! And are 6.5" eye to eye. So I cut the top shock mount on the frame and turned it up welded it back in place cut off the swing arm mounting bracket on the right side, flip it to the rear of the frame post and weld it in place drill a new hole on the left side 3" farther back stretching out the wheel brace 3" and the shock fit like a glove! Way better ride, no more bouncing. Then you can go overboard like I'm doing and find some pit bike inverted forks and throw them on there and a IHI RHB3 and turbocharge the tinny death machine!!!!! Here are some pictures!!! Work in progress. I'm going for the pocket bike land speed record!!! LOL
