Hi, I want to install a 14tooth front sprocket instead of the stock 17tooth, and my question is do i need to tune up my carb after the installation? I'm not good at tuning..also how do i know when to replace my clutch??

Re: pocket bike x7 2stroke

That a great mod for the X7. It's the best gearing combo for the X7. No you will not need to retune your carb for it. The clutches in all the 2 stroke MidBikes atleast most anyways last for awhile. I would say that when the pads get to where there is about a 1/16th" left on them.

Re: pocket bike x7 2stroke

Thanks straydawg!! I installed it right when you replied back, tested it and your right no carb tuning. I'm not good at tuning that's why I asked.. It has a faster acceleration, and top speed wasn't lost. Thanks for the fast reply.
