Tips for all you big engine dreamers.

As some of you may know, I am doing a pretty large x18 build. Now what I thought (like most of us) is that I'll just buy a big 140cc engine, slap it in, and BOOM I will go cruising. I've realized that putting a larger engine into a x bike require both a good amount of determination and money. So my tip to you dreamers is just this:

DO YOUR RESEARCH AND ORGANIZE EVERYTHING. MAKE A BUDGET ALSO.

I have spent over $1500 and just trying to make my bike faster. Also be prepared for the worst, like my bike right now which won't start after a good amount of money and time used. This is not to lure anyone away from buying a larger engine, just think before you jump.

Re: Tips for all you big engine dreamers.

i did mine the poor people way
i got one thing at a time until it was motor time
the good thing about that way is everything works good together and you can still ride the whole time
the bad thing about that way is it takes along time to get stuff and sometimes things blow up during the learning process, ive spent enough to get divorced lol
but i think my bikes are bad azz and so its worth it in the end

Yea I just made this thread because some people are just like "yea bro just slap in a 140 into your bike and you'll be cruising" but they never mention the amount of work and stress it can give...
