X1 Electric Starter

Hey Everyone,
I am new to this forum and new to Pocket Bieks themselves. My brothers bought one and wanted me to join them. So I purchased an X1 off a buddy of mine. The pull start works after a couple pulls but does not idle. I believe this can be adjusted with the screw. The question today is, I cannot use the electric start. I charged the battery until the charger turned green. Tested the lights and was working. Tried holding left brake down and pressing starter and nothing, not even a click. Weird thing, this morning I put the key in and try the light and very dim and seems battery did not hold charge over night. So could it be the battery?? Or since the battery did have charge last night and I still wasn't able to charge it could it be something else?
Thanks everyone.
G

Re: X1 Electric Starter

Ya I think my first step is to buy a new battery and if that still fails I need to try the next step and buy new starter. Anyone in Canada know where I can order these parts from??
Or if anyone knows what else I can try before ordering more parts let me know
Thanks

Make sure you have a good ground and check for loose or broken connections.

Re: X1 Electric Starter

thanks guys for all your input.
I have a new battery on the way, I will try that first then go to relay switch.
Can you also tell me exact steps on using electric starter. I am very new to pocket bikes and bikes in general.
Should I pull start with full choke first then use electric start. Or can I just press left brake and press switch.
Thanks again, this is a great forum
