Re: X18 Paint Job(red With Black?or All Black?)

black frame and red body.

i stripped my 2stroke x7 and painted the frame, lower forks and cradle gold. i also painted the body parts black.rims are black on inside with lip and spokes gold. it's going to be a rockstar energy drink race bike. also ordered yamaha r6 graphics in gold. 7in rockstar stickers and gold #69 decals. stripped motor down and ported intake and exhaust ports on head. drilled 15mm intake manifold to 16.5mm, stripped down 15mm carb and drilled it to 16.5mm. racing piston from unlimited with new circle crank. put the motor back together with carb, velocity stack and juice box, and rocket key. installed it on my buddies z600 and this thing is dam fast. will have pics up soon.

Cool Re: X18 Paint Job(red With Black?or All Black?)

Bondo, gorrilla glue, model plastic glue. Just put it on the bottom of the crack sand the top down and repaint. It becomes untoicable.

It is a dark red because of the coats and the primer i used. i also used a clear coat to give it that extra shine. looks really nice. used "VHT NIGHTSHADES" to smoke the front light. sharpie is going to damage the plastic and fade away. i recomend vht. you can get it at your local autoparts store. i got mine at pepboys for $9.00
