Question x18 problem i havnt seen here before

Ok so i havnt seen this problem brought up before. I got my x18 yesterday and everything was in great shape. I swaped the oil and check the bike over real good and tightend all the bolts arround the bike. Start it up, it turns on right away. i take a 15-20 min ride pull into my garage and throw it in neutral lower the kickstand and rest the bike on it while the engine is still running and as i rested the bike on the kickstand it threw itself into gear and jerked foward. it didnt fall but obviously shut off . it started right up no problems but why does it put itself into gear? or am i not supposed to rest it on the kickstand with the engine running?

i wonder if i got a defective transmition. it sucks cause to warm it up i dont want to have to hold it or sit on it till its ready to go. i want it to idle for a while on its stand befor i get on it and go.

no you just didnt have it all the way in neutral. i have done that. if not all the way in neutral the vibration of the bike wil make the shifter move just enough to make it pop into gear. no worries.
