I found a good kart track today that also races super moto and will be racing pocket bikes. Its open 7 days a week , practice is $25 for all day its located near Springfield Illinois. the guy I talked to said its pretty dead during the week so thats a good practice time. Racing fees will be somewhere in the $40 to $50 range for non members. So lets round up some guys and start racing . Right now they dont have any set classes the guy said its run what ya brung til they get enough different bikes for classes. the facililty is called mid state kart club . midstatekartclub.com
I realize this an old post but I wanted to say thank you for the site link. I'm checking in now and it would be cool to have a track that is semi-local (about 1 1/2 from us). Don't even have a pocket bike yet but definately want to try it.

I live in Oswego, IL. I have had a hard time finding people in the midwest also, I did find a link for a go-kart track out by springfield in a town called dawson. It's called mid state kart club and they also race mini bikes. I havent called so I have no details. I dont have my bike yet and hope to have it within the next week or so. Thnx for letting me know there is someone out here that wants to ride/race. ^.^
Welcome to the site and yes we go to the mid state kart club about 1 every couple months . its $30 for allday of riding , they dont hold races as there simply isnt enough bikes but if we all showed up during a race im sure they would let us in and race we also race in Farmer City if you have any questions PM me

I am located in Farmer City Illinois . About 25 miles west of Champaign . Come on down we will have a blast . there are 2 local hotels here in town that are pretty cheap . We need some people to ride , let go fellas !!!
hey just so you guys know if your wanting to stay all weekend there is couple local hotels that are cheap maybe you guys can all hookup I would have ya stay at my place but my house is full . i have a nice new heated 26X36 garage if you dont wanna do that bring a sleeping bag i will save ya some $$$
Im bumping this thread as its happening this weekend guys we will not be at Springfield as they have scheduled a 2 day kart event but we will be riding in FC at the church lot if anyone would like to attend I will give you directions , Danny will you be bringing that new ride of yours in your avatar , see ya soon bro
