Hey all, I was wondering if there were any Penna. riders out there that would like to ride, or know of a track around here for me to go to ... I live about a half hour from Altoona/Johnstown, PA ...

Actually I think it'd be awesome to have just people we know in a small group go ... racing with a fewer amount of people would be fun ... but racing with alot of people would be fun too ... if you're up front ... lol

There are a couple of us planning on starting a racing club in the somerset area.We had a play race two weeks ago and had about 7 bikes and probably 30 or so people watching,so the interest is there. We have a couple of area bussinesses that may let us use there lots and today i will be checking out a old road course kart track and try to get in touch with the owner. The thing is we will need liability insurance to get permission to use these areas for racing. So we will have to charge a club fee to cover all the club members. We are still in the planning process so i will post more info later.Chris

I dont run the club at beaver run but im hoping to start a new club.I have a few people already to get in.I contacted the owner of a old kart track today and currently im in talks with him about using his track. This place would make an awesome place to race,3/8 mile road course 22 ft wide(this is not a rental track its a racing kart track).Right now i have alot of details to work out like insurance and things.Any of you PA guys that would be interested please leave a post so i can se how much interest this sparks up.

Hey I'm close to Somerset and would LOVE to ride with you guys ... I'm in Ebensburg ... I have been riding with myself for about 2 1/2 months, and it sucks ... I have a FF Generation 3 Cag, and I'm 13 if you wouldn't mind having a youngin around .... I'm ordering a BB Kit, adjustable jet/triple tapered needle, and CF reeds real soon, maybe even a ported carb ... where are you guys riding at, and what are the ages of the other riders ... what kind of bikes? I am HIGHLY interesed, post here or PM me for more info ... thanks alot!

The track im looking at is in bedford co.but like i said there is a ton of details to work out over the winter. We have all ages that ride with us and im planning on having race classes for youth.Right now we ride in the back lot of the school and no one seems to mind. The only bikes i have been selling are the midi's x2 x3 x9 r1 those are the bikes everyone wants and rides around here. But if we get enough minis we will run them to.You are welcome to come out here next time we go,sunday afternoons seems to be the best time,i will drop you a line when we go next.Chris
