Re: Anyone in North Cali?

OK, what happened? Drama BS? It doesn't have to be complicated. Humans LOVE bureaucracy for some reason.

Some friends and I are starting some activity in the San Jose/Santa Cruz area. Keeping it parking lot simple for now but maybe we'll check out a track at some point. After we're sick of topping out at 20 mph.

Anyone know of any good parking lots or tracks in the south bay area?

Thanks,
Adam

Nailed it. Part of the reason everything went pear shape wuz because this here web site does not allow unsponsored links.

This is where we could find each other, but can not link to info.. unless that link happens to be sponsoring www.pocketbikeplanet.com

Lame? Very.

Re: Anyone in North Cali?

Well, the group is forming nicely. There's 7 of us in the South Bay Area so far ordering Cags and more to follow I'm sure.

We got a group buy and they're $144 each. Ha! Plus we have a 30% discount on parts and accessories at a local MEGA dealer in the Santa Cruz mountains. Nuts!

If anyone wants to join us please contact me at DucatiMiata@hotmail.com

We have a Google Group going also. "South Bay MiniGP"

Cheers,
Adam

Re: Anyone in North Cali?

Whats up adam. I just joined your group, it is now pending approval.
I might have one two more buddies at my unit that are starting to become interested in the sport. One for sure atleast. So is there anytracks in the area or is it truly dead?

Re: Anyone in North Cali?

It seems the closest track that has minimoto activity is in Stockton (hours from the bay area). Every Monday is an open practice for $25 and I think there is a monthly race day.

But I bet if we have enough people interested we can rent a local track for a possible series/season. Most of our group is made up of newbies so we're still happy to practice (race) in a parking lot full of cones.

Thanks for the interest! Spread the word!

Re: Anyone in North Cali?

We move around to different parking lots. Know any good spots in the San Jose area we can set up some cones? Something with lights.

I just got back from Atwater (Polini Cup) and I am fried. I need a pocketbike break!!!

Maybe meet up Wed the 17th around 7pm?

Join this group and stay in touch.
