Reptile, you live down in Oakland, or by Daly City? I got family back there in Redwood City ....

You guys might want to consider trying a couple of the big parking lots, like the Oakland Coliseum, the Cow Palace, and the San Jose Arena. Also, look up any kart tracks in the area, see if they'd let you run there.

Re: bayarea pocket bike racers

Try churches, schools, colleges ... You may want to consider writing up a waiver for everyone to sign, somehting to the effect of "I take full responsibility for whatever happens here" and give it to the people with the lot.

Here in Tucson, there's a kart track about fifteen miles away (in either direction, how cool is that!), and we also run in the parking lot behind a motorcycle shop. In Phoenix, a bunch of guys get together and run at a college library parking lot. Just have to get creative with looking for places, guys - please be safe and don't do it on the streets.

Unhappy Re: bayarea pocket bike racers

Ya i go out to the country and ride in the industiral parking lots on the weekend when no one is around but it seems that not a lot of people are into racing anymore but from the number of pocket bikes that are sold on cragislist near by i can tell that they are out there, sucks that most kart tracks don't allow pocket bikes to race when people are trying to be responsible and go to a track but aren't allowed just doesn't seem right but in these times what dose?
