Finlay Tuned BiZeta Motors Set New Land Speed Record at 78mph!

You saw a post about this new record last week but it was innaccurate. After finally getting the more accurate information from the source I wanted to post the whole story.

This speed record attempt was made in conjunction with the timing staff from the Guiness record books. It was an official timing run.

The bike was a 2004 GRC RR running a Scott Finaly-tuned custom BiZeta 50cc engine. The same engine, same tuning that Robbie has been burning up the track with this year in his 50cc bike.

However, the news story came from a local newspaper reporter who failed to stay until the end of the timing sessions. He basically watched the first round and then left to write up his story.

At the end of the second of two rounds the official top speed was 78mph!
Thus officially beating the old record by more than 14mph! They will attempt to set or break the record again in front of the Guiness TV cameras on Sep 29 & 30th! They are definitely expecting to match their feat at the end of the month, but the inside scoop says that they will actually beat this new record!

To get more information about or to order one of these great engines please contact Advanced MotoSports at (703) 899-8915 or email AdvancedMoto@aol.com
