OMG that looks freakin awesome!!!!! Only 1700? Wow im definitely buying that (instead of the X 18) if the reviews turn out to be positive. It really looks bad@$$ and omg its almost as big as a real big without the crazy $3000+ costs! Nice!

are you sure the seat height is 29 inches??? seems too tall for dat bike. can u take a pic of it next to a x6/x18/x-watever? also a pic next to a 600CC street bike would be good.

Re: Phoenix 125cc Streetbike review *ready to ship*

either way....its a killer "toy"...bottom line its still not a gsxr 600....one thing that soes dissapoint is the stock 55mph top speed...(i think my mildly upgraded x-18 could kill it) that sucks cause i bet an x-18 with a five speed would go like almost 90 easily...but for 1200 cool for like 1600 im good, ill just save another grand and get a used 600..

Re: Phoenix 125cc Streetbike review *ready to ship*

I had the chance to see one inperson over the weekend. A freind brought it out to a local bike event. The bike is not bad at all but still needs some changes especially to the fairings. The fairings are the weakest point of the bike the next the shift linkage will need to be adjusted. It gets in the way of the kick stand when it's up. The front forks are very stiff but that should be a very simple fix and the rear shock can also be fixed possibly with a stiffer spring. The amazing thing is China actually used a metal tank like a big bike instead of plastic The bike sits sorta like a 250cc much larger then a NSR/YSR Still for the price it's not bad and we should be getting some track results soon to give input on the chassis. From appearance the chassis looks good but we may be getting some track results
Oh yeah the other thing is it comes with 16" rims 17" would have been prefered because then tire selection would have been huge.

It's much larger then the X-18 and bit larger then the Derbi but not by much. Weight wise it is somewhat top heavy. It will not compare to a Honda 125 GP bike just keep this in mind. The RS125 by HRC is a true race bike I had one and it is not in the same class as these.

The bike is larger then the Xbikes by far. Weighs around the same as a 600cc sportbike and is bigger then a YSR/NSR. I would say it's the same size as a Kawi 250 or a 400cc sportbike.

Yeah it should be a good track bike because of it's size and from the amount of extra space in the engine area it may be possible to bolt in a Derbi motor but again that is just from visual inspection. It was also recommended to swap the pipe because from what my buddy said the pipe sounds like junk and that is also another issue he will be bringing up on his trip to China

Here is a pic sorry it's not that great but we didn't expect the bike to show up. The event was held at a local Honda Motorcycle dealership and the bike got a lot of attention
