Question about rider size!

I'm a new guy, I'm sure you've noticed by my post count.

A close friend of mine recently acquired a X7 bike, and has been riding it nonstop. I'm interested in purchasing a bike of my own, but theres a little of an issue. I'm a big guy.

I'm 5'11, 250lbs. I know alot of the bikes are for weights up to 230# area. What'd be the best size bike for me to start off with? I have riding experience, just not on something that size.

Re: Question about rider size!

Well, The x-7 and all x-bikes are what we call Mid-Bikes, And that sounds like what you are after, The x-18 is probably the best bet, But I'm unsure if there are any in stock yet, I remember they have been having trouble getting them past customs, But From what I've heard they have fixed the issues that were keeping them from getting here.

I'm 6'0" and 190-200lbs (depending on how close we are to a holiday) and cruise around on our cateye (one of the first Mid-bikes) all the time.

Nick.
