I dont think anyone is in Alberta...i need someone to rip with....I dont have a pb yet but i have a shifter kart that will keep up If your anywhere around Edmonton or Calgary or Red Deer where im from....Drop me a line
Wondering if I can get some help...Looking to purchase pocket bike purely for recreation, not anything serious (Yet!!), having been trying to look around the net etc., specificially finding an Alberta dealer etc. Anyone have suggestions? I have looked in ebay (get what you pay for ??), the advertisers as posted above...any help would be great. Live in Central Alberta, so can travel fairly quickly to Calgary - Edmonton.
Thanks.....
hey, yea there is a whole bunch of sportbike races just outside edmonton (near bud park) every summer, there is usually about 10 PB races, i usually go watch except not this year
i just purchased my cheapy PB of ebay yesterday, but with certain mods i'm sure it will do just fine.
im in calgary. i am still looking for a pb for a good price. would like the ducatti mid bike(with the hydraulic brakes) or an x7(fs529, 380x), or even any full faring mini pb. rossini like. if anyone knows where to buy on at a good price, please let me know.
going to represent, not just for speed. plus with a few modification the mid size bike can be made street legal in canada. would be great to be drivin on the street legally with no hassles from the police.
well... it's winter right now, so really nowhere to ride yet, but i've started it up a bunch of times in my garage, seems to work fine, i've taken it out on the street once, and that was a bad idea...
an NO you can't make a cateye PB legal because it does not contain a serial number therefore you cannot got a title for the bike, therefore you can't get registration and insurance. My dad works with an insurance company :P i'd go with the non cateye bike, less electrical problems, and less weight = more speed
i'm just going to ride my bike residential streets because i know they wont phone the police, because i'll drive by their house like once every 3 hours :P

just for your information. the cost of a VIN is 425.00 and can be put on any motor vehicle as long as you can prove that said vehicle meets or exceeds alberta motor vehile standards. i am not the only one to attempt this. there is a manufacturer in quebec that sells street legal x7 pb and x-18 pb. an x7 is not a cat eye bike , it is a bit larger all around.

thats what i intend to do until all the modifications are complete.
