CAN-AM CHALLENGE July 26th and 27th

What is the CAN – AM Challenge?

The CAN – AM Challenge is a friendly competition between TEAM CANADA and TEAM USA that is sponsored by TSMMR. The winning team will receive the CAN – AM CUP, a newly designed perpetual trophy, built by Fritz. The winning team will retain the trophy for up to one year, and which time it will be returned to TSMMR, for presentation at the next event. It is envisioned that the CAN – AM Challenge will be held annually.

Rules:

1. Participation is limited to citizens of Canada and the USA. Team membership is based on the rider’s country of residence. Team switching will not be allowed.

2. Any class (Proddy, Junior, NSR, etc.) that has at least 3 riders from each country will be included in the scoring total.

3. Scoring for each class will be as follow: 3 points for first place, 2 points for second place, and 1 point for third place. Points from all classes will be tallied, and the team with the most points will receive the cup.

4. In the unlikely event of a tie on points, the team with the most first place finishers shall receive the cup. Should that also result in a tie, the team with the most registered racers will receive the cup.

5. The person or persons from the winning team that take possession of the cup agree to display it in a manner that protects it from damage, and to return it at the next event. The CAN - AM Cup remains the property of TSMMR/Fritz.
