| How To: Fix Your Chain Rollers for $1 The stock chain rollers on my L7 pocket bike were made very soft plastic. The top one lasted about two hours before being cut in half and the chain was riding on steel.
I looked for a quick replacement and I found these nylon spacers at my local hardware store. These are 1/2 inch across by one inch long and they cost 50¢ each.
The hard, slick plastic allows the chain to slide easily and they last way longer than the stockers. They are slightly shorter, moving the chain guard in away from the peg. They also allow the guard to be bolted down solid, they don't wiggle like the originals. |
