Post How To: Install Meat Hook pegs on your Cag

You will need 2, 8X30mm hex head screws and a 5/16 drill bit, and oh... dont forget get your Meat Hooks.

1. Remove stock peg from mount. I used a corded power drill and attached the chuck directly to the peg while the mount was in a table vise. If you use this method you must use a drill that has a 1/2" chuck.

2. Use the 8X30mm nut and screw it into the meat hook like you are going to mount it to the peg bracket. This is where you want to setup how your meat hooks will mount. Higher will prevent LOWSYDING. Mark the bracket where the set pin on the meat hook will be going into the bracket. Drill a 5/16 hole where you just marked it.

3. Replace the stock allen head screws that tighten the peg mount to the frame. I dont know the size but you can find em at Home Depot.

4. Waaaa-Laoow... you now have the best racing pegs installed on a CAG.

If you notice in my pics, my meat hooks are mounted at about 10 o' clock. This is most comfortable for me and I never LOWSYDE on my pegs. I thought I was but it was actually my rear tire breaking traction from leaning to far over. You can set your to where you are most comfortable.
