2005 CAPRA Race Schedule

Here is the current list of race dates for CAPRA including the Northeast Series and the USMGP races that I know about.

If you have any questions you can contact either myself or Eddie Lugo (Fast Eddie).

It's going to be a very busy year!

See you at the track!

Bill

Make copies of it. One for the garage/house, one for work, and one for your other half (letting them know that you won't be around). If you thought the practices were fun wait until your on the track. Looking forward to seeing EVERYONE out there.

Eddie

Does anyone know the hotels (or have a favorite) that are close to the tracks for the travel races?

For Beaverun just go to the website (you can find a link in the Northeast Series Schedule thread) or click http://beaverun.com/Lodging-Local-Info.asp.

For the two new tracks (Oakland and E-Town) it's all new to us too, maybe Marc can suggest something around Oakland. For E-Town I'm planning to try to make it a day trip...

for E-Town go to the following link http://racewaypark.com/ but I am not sure if they list lodging, you can get the general address to search for the closest hotel . Oakland Valley go to this link and they have lodging ideas http://www.ovrp.com/index.html there is also a close by camping ground which some of us will be using...

Marc could you maybe find out from the Track Staff what their top 2 or 3 picks would be in the under-10-miles-from-the-track group?

http://www.ovrp.com/drivingDirect.html

Thx!

Actually Oakland Valley is the one I was asking about. They list alot of local type motels that no visitor would have a clue about, it would be better if someone local can tell us which ones tend to be comparable quality to the national chains....

Is it still $50 per race? Just double checking before this weekend. Also, how did the last cag race turn out? I can't wait to get a real bike so I can race with the big dogs!

It's now a flat fee of $55 to run in as many classes as you want, but in general we recommend that you don't "upsize" more than one class above the one your bike is qualified for.

The Cag class is a Cag/4.2 class and was very competitive last time. You'll have a blast racing those guys (and gals!).
