Hey!!! MSNBC Is Coming Here Sunday!!

No Joke guys, an MSNBC Camera Crew is coming out to film our practice this Sunday in Chantilly!

MSNBC's Peter Alexander and his staff are working with us to create a story about the "positive and responsible" side of Pocketbiking.

They are concerned about the big surge in Pocketbike purchases for the Holidays and worried about what people will do with them so they want to help us get the message out for folks to bring their kids to join the local clubs and learn about the safe and responsible way to ride.

SO COME OUT AND GET YOUR UGLY MUGS ON FILM and MAKE SURE you bring your safety gear to ride! No one who isn't properly attired will be allowed to ride at practice!

Let's make sure we have the numbers to show CAPRA is serious about this sport.

See you there everyone, 12Noon to 4pm at the Chantilly lot!

Good luck bill, I am sure you will put on a good show. It is nice to see more media outlets finally getting on board with the positive side of these bikes. We (the mmmrl) were fortunate to get some tv exposure that was positive a month ago. We were happy with the way it turned out. frank

Thanks Frank, we only had one bad media experience this year, for the most part all of our media coverage in the DC area has been very positive, we've been pretty lucky I guess.

This time it's the actual New York National affiliate doing the story and we're going to do our level best to make sure it's positive as it will be shown to a National audience.

The taping of the practice went very well today, many thanks to all of the CAPRA riders who turned out to make it a great practice. I think they got some excellent footage.

We tape the one-on-one interviews tomorrow... that's where the fun starts!

Cross your fingers.... we've been working on our presentation.... I guess we'll see!

How did the 1-on-1 interviews go? And did they give you an air date/time?

They seemed to go very well.... you never know until you see the final edited version though.

This was prepared I believe for a big NBC Nightly News national segment.

No dates yet, but they say they'll keep us informed....
