NEC May 7th

Fellow PB'ers,

The official sign up for the Northeast Championship race can be found at http://tsmmr.com/index_files/registration.htm This site will be updated daily around 6pm. You can also check out who plans on attending this event and what classes they have signed up for. This event WILL be happening RAIN or SHINE... unless lightning is striking. This is the first big event for everyone up here in the Northeast so I strongly encourage everyone to come on out.

Eddie

PS. The most fun you can have on a pocketbike is at the track with plenty of other people who have the same interest!

Here we Go

We are 2 weeks away from one of the biggest events to hit the NorthEast. Please preregister so we can try to run a smooth show...

http://tsmmr.com/index_files/registration.htm

Schedule of events are as follows...

Fee 30$
9:00 am – 5:00pm (Optional) Practice in Rotation W/ Go-Karts

Race Fee 40$ for the First Class and 10$ for all additional classes.

5:00pm – 7:00pm PocketBike Exclusive Practice.
7:00pm – 10:00pm Pocketbike Qualifying and Racing
10:00pm – Awards Ceremony

Spectator Passes are 10$ and if you attend the Morning practice session you will not be recharged for a Pit Pass in the evening session…
Hot Grid passes are 15$ for those working on bikes in the Hot Grid Area.

E-town has a specific hot grid area in which is the only designated area that you can start your bikes so All tuners must buy one of these passes and not a Spectator Pass which does not allow you in the Hot Grid Area....

This Event Will Be Hand Scored at this point...

Also please note that since we are doing the scoring by hand you must have 3 inch #'s visible on the the front and on both sides of your bikes...This actually no change from the Rule Book 3 inch #'s are mandatory...Peace

Since this race series is being put on in conjunction with CAPRA, is there some way we could use their transponder system at Englishtown?

What day is everyone going up? Friday night? Saturday morning?

Looks like Days Inn is a few minutes from the raceway @ 115.00 night

Well #24 is used by Jay (the owner of this site) although he hasn't been out with us in quite a while. (*cough* Hint to Jay *cough*)
The number 24X is used by a Sheedo (an old school racer from the Hampton Roads area) who occasionally shows up to race with us. (*cough* Hint to Sheedo *cough*)
No kids use #24 in CAPRA.

Are you kidding me? Why don't we continue to reserve every other quitters racing numbers too?

It is not fair to reserve numbers for racers who are not active. If the inactive racers wish to become active again, then they can choose racing numbers that are available obviously after the active racers have selected theirs.

Sounds fair enough to me.

My previous post was more of an FYI and not a deterrent. I was giving both of the guys the benefit of the doubt as Jay does make a bikeless appearance once in a blue moon and Sheedo did come up for an event or two last summer. I'm just trying to be hopeful that they will join us this summer. As for AJ he should keep the #24 (as I previously stated that no kids have it here in our area). Plus if the above mentioned guys do return they won't be racing in the same class AJ is racing in.

Nothing buy Love, Peace, and Hair Grease,
Eddie

PS. Now there are guys that I wonder if they will ever return. Who is this Tien Nguyen guy that raced #5??? LOL!!!

Angry

Dudes, I'm double booked for May 7th and, unfortunately, the other engagement takes precedence. Why does this always happen to the X Man?! Any way, barring an act of God, I'll have to sit this one out.
