Many thanks to the Nor Cal Boyz for trek'n it down to "La Grange" (love that track!)
Dave, we most definitely would love to see you and anyone else on "shifters" come out for some races next season! I started off road racing on a YSR, then picked up X-bikes and
pocketbikes (cag and DM) to 'hone' some skills on the track. ********'s program really focuses on progression. The basics I learned on
pocketbikes made me that much better and smoother once I hopped back on a shifter. I learned so much (you'd never know it when I'm out there getting lapped by the leads though! hahahaha!). But the fundamentals learned from minis are key.
Our new class for next season should be interesting: mini-Thunder GP "4-stroke" shifters up to 125cc. This will include the x12s and X15s, as well as XR-50s, Thumpstars, etc.... And of course we have the 50cc and 80cc shifter classes as well. We'll have our finalized 2006 season rules available after Nov. 30th.
Take care and good luck buying your next bike!
