SONNY... nice ride man!!! Too bad our gas cards got shut off for that weekend!!! I need to know the date of the next race so I can say im gonna show and not go again!
Great camera work Ivan!! Wow that super proddy class was the highlight of that race... Talking about 22 Italian bikes on that class alone!! It was just awesome racing.
well, thanx guys for all ur support.....just want to let everyone know that i'm a little bruised up with a little bit of road rash....shouldn't be too long for me to heal up.....that crash did look pretty crazy though. ......it's all good...that's how people learn from their mistakes.....thanks ivan for posting up the video.....introduce urself to me next time at the race.... i really appreciate it.....
Geez, that crash was friggin' terrible! Which bike was that on and how did you lose it?
it was in the super production class....i just passed rocky for first, then coming around that turn, i was pinned..... then the back end just whipped out and then caught again.....so it was ur basic high side....kind of funny though...cuz when i flew in the air, i saw the bike flying too...
It was really scary on the track that day, I don't think the karts were out in to much force for a while laying down extra rubber, so parts of the track that usually seem very grippy, just did'nt seem all that good traction wise on race day. I lowsided at least 3 times (wimpy ones, got right back up), but there were people going down left and right. And obviously Jess's was th scariest of the day. That crash was the proddy main, and about 10 races later was the 4.2 and open mains back to back. Jess was still able to win the 4.2 and eek out a 2nd in open, still rattled from the crash. Good racing was had by all, and for the most part the event was very good, we had record turnout, and it made for a great day of racing.
hay bails?!!!! DOH! I would hate to come wipping thru a corner and have someone layed out just after the corner! [EEK] talk about a pucker moment?! :loco
Hows your boy Steve doin'.........awarded 2nd red flag for that race. Hope he's doin' well too!..........plenty of Vicodin [cry laughing] Tho' I'm pretty sure he'll be good to go for Race 9........prolly just as banged up as Jezz.

He's all good, just sore, but Steve is no stranger to injuries, its just what he does , we will all be ready for race 9 and the USMGP nationals in AZin Nov. We are starting on prepping the bikes all ready.
I am doing fine, I have got a pretty severe bruse on my right thigh and I think that I have got a permant bar end mark on my chest. I will definately be ready for the next race, and I would have finished the last race if my bike would have restarted. For those of you that do not know me, Teds statement of "thats what steve does", is because this may be my first time injured on a pocketbike but I am no stranger to injuries my hospital record is about three inches thick, you remember the bionic man well thats me held together with stainless steel bolts" modern technologiy rocks.
I hope to see some of you guys that are not regulars return for race number 9, and also looking forward to Arizona race.
