Sunday's SMRRC race schedule and more

Hello all,

Well it looks like its gonna be a little wet for our first race. Remember, we run rain or shine as most of you know. If you were here for our last race than you'll remember what it was like. I think most had a good time.

Anyway, here is the low down for the weekend. I'll also have a copy of these at the track.

SATURDAY PRACTICE!!!!!!!!

The gates will be open for those wanting to set up for Sat practice at 12:00 noon. I had planned to be able to get on the track at around 3:00 since there will be some karts sharing the track but if it's wet then they will most likely not show up (whimps, but good for us, lol) Anyway, if there are no karts for our Sat practice then we'll have the track to ourselves till 8:00 or so. Cost is $20

Sundays schedule (Remember, the race order may change if we combine classes)

Gates Open 7:00am

7:15 - 9:00 registration

7:30 - 9:10 tech (Pocketbike tech will be performed by Ted Simpson)

8:30 - 10:00 practice (2 sessions, 8 minutes each)

• Group 1- Mod Thunder,

• Group 2- Stock YSR, Beginners

• Group 3- Formula Xtreme, Premiere 80GP

• Group 4- Super 50’s, Super Mod YSR,

• Group 5- Open & Production Pocketbikes

• Group 6- Stock/Open Cag and 4.2 Pocketbike, Future Stars XR50’s

10:15 riders meeting (all riders must attend)

10:30 heat races begin

Race order (Note: some classes will most likely be combined)

Question Track Layout?

Hey there Mat,

I am probably not able to make it out on Saturday, But will make it out for the race on Sunday (rain or shine). I was wondering if you can tell us what the track layout will be like for this coming race?

Also I had a question for Point standing. Will all of the pocketbike points be added up, or will it go be race division?

Meaning, If I raced open 50, and 40(superproddy), will those points be combined, or will they be totally different point standings. The reason why I'm asking is because I not going to race the 4.2 class, but if it will affect my TOTAL points in the end of the year, then I might just race in that class (4.2).

Thanks

Two hours, thats not that far, most of us are driving at least an hour and a half. trust me, its completely worth the drive. There are racers coming from as far as Washington State, Oregon, Las Vegas, and possibly Arizona.
