Looking forward to seeing all the usual suspects rounded up down in Oregon this weekend, and watching ALL our AWESOME kids do their thing out on the track. And there's gonna be some fresh meat for the adults to chew-up on, thanks to a few racers from the newest pb racing org in Washington, NWMinimoto Racing, coming down for a visit. Lets try and be nice to the new guys and maybe wave as ya lap em or something
My bikes are both down hard, so I may not be racing (I am registered though, so IF there was a bike available to ride... *hint hint* ) But I still look forward to hanging out with ya'll this weekend. No better place to be than with others who love this silly sport as much as I do.
Well ther Pilgram! We just might have a mount for you ta through your leg over! Colton will be on the BMS, and we have the Polini 4.2 left in the barn! If it's not too fast for ya!?
See Ya Friday!
Tony

Being serious here for a seconds though, if I coulda deleted this thread I would have. I'm not a two-faced hypocrite and I have to admit that since last night I'm not quite as yippy-skippy happy to be going down this weekend as I was when I made the post. But people like yourself and Hunter continue to show me me that we *are* all in this together, and we as a group can and will work together to help make things better.
But what do i know, I'm just a dumb racer who doesn't have kids and has no business being involved in trying to help an organization I love survive
then the bike exploded, and his safety wire fell off

Did we miss something Mark? What happened that made you want to change your mind? Maybe there's something I can do to assist!
Hey yall where is the race this weekend and where??? I got my modded out cag but thats about it.... ill be getting my hands on a 4.2 soon. But i would like to come down and watch the race this weekend gimme some times and dates and im down. Im in salem so i hope its not far from...
We'd love to have you come out and join us all. We will be racing on Friday at Pat's Acres and on Sat-Sun at McMinnville. If you need directions, go to www.omrrapocketbikes.com and check out the tracks and how to get there.
Look forward to seeing you out there this weekend.
You are more than welcome to come out and see us, however, I'm not sure if Saturday will be an open practice day. Meaning, if it isn't you are required to have an OMRRA pocket bike race license. Not sure on that tho, maybe someone can chime in and back me up or correct me if I'm wrong. I even think that you can purchase a license at the track through Dave Herring or Hunter. Hope that helps...

okay mark...what did I miss here?? You give each and every one of these kids inspiration and confidence to get on that track each and every time. I know from personal experience, you've been someone for Colton to look up too. I think that you have just as much business being involved as the rest of us, seeing how it is OUR involvement that will keep this program going in a positive direction.
I hope to see you friday afternoon at Pat's Acres (after this mommie gets out of school!)
jen and colton

This is correct, Saturday is not an OMRRA event. Shane, you will need to talk to "Pops" at McMinville. I believe some sort of license is required to run at that track. PKA, OMRRA etc...Either (I believe) can be obtained on Saturday.

I'm not sure where this is coming from either. I think you are implying (but I could be wrong) that since Mike and I chose not to speak with you over the phone regarding the pipe issue that you translated that into the above. You posted the above "read between the lines message" here and then more stuff over at CF that was directed right at us. If you felt that way you could have done that in private - but you didn't and so I responded.
I just didn't feel like a bunch of people needed to be drawn into this, how is that so wrong?
I don't have a personal beef with you and I won't start one either. You are very passionate about this sport and get very excited when you discuss things regarding it. Not saying that is wrong I just choose not to be part of a heated discussion because then I say things that maybe I shouldn't. You know personally that I have said on several occassions how much I appreciate the kindness that you show to the kids and that you talk to them on their level. So why you made the statement you did is beyond me. I don't think you have to have kids to be able to share your thoughts or opinions.
I'm sure everyone has read what I posted over at CF and I am ok with that. I guess I too am passionate about this sport and the direction that it goes.
