Fathers Day Race

OMRRA (WE) did it again!
What a fun day of racing!

Congratulations to all the racers and the Fathers watching them.

I know I had the most fun I've had at a race yet! I spent Fathers Day WATCHING ( Thanks to ALL the volunteers that made it possible!) my kids kick but on the track!!! The only thing missing was the Fathers race. Bring it on Dad's!

This past weekends races were a toss up and could have belonged to anyone.
With some key racers out of the hunt in Junior GP, things took a turn for the under dogs.
Riley, Bennie and Devon all did their best to take advantage of the opportunity to take home some bronze, gold and silver respectively in the Junior GP race.

Riley surprised everyone by grabbing the hole shot in the Junior Production class and charging into the lead to the first corner. After settling in to 3rd place Riley was battling back and forth with Bennie and Devon for the 3rd, 4th and 5th positions. Coming into the chicane before the straight Riley caught the foot peg on the ground and low sided the bike causing him to slide into the grass and giving him a DNF for the JP class.

It was a great day of racing and we look forward to many more
