Thanks to everyone for the great weekend. With the clear weather and a (finally) dry track, it was a perfect fun-filled end to an interesting season. The kids were ALL on their game, i think the whole lot of them raced
exceptionally well yesterday! Mitch did a most excellent job taking over my former position of chasing the infamous "corner" (hehehe Hi Silke) around the track, and Nick went above and beyond what any racer should have to endure by dodging the cones I knee-tossed his way (sorry 'bout that Nick
)
Gotta give special props to all the "old guys"
who rode in the dads race. Some of you had rather 'interesting' riding positions, I may have to watch the training video's and learn from ya'll! To be honest I was expecting to see more carnage, but it was very cool watching all of you successfully make it around the track. But if I can offer some advice.... don't ever try and race your kids
