Looking to get back into the sport

Hello I own a modded out cag and was just looking to come out and dink around for a practice day. Is there anway I could get a phone number of someone who is involved with omrra. If my skills are up to par I may be interested in entering a few races. Any info would be appreciated I hope to see you all out at the track. Thanks in advance.

Hi, there is practice this Sat night (I think after 2pm) and races on Sunday at the MAC track. Get directions and info off the OMRRA pocketbikes website. There's 3 races left in the season.

Thank you for the info. So would it be allright for me to just come out and do a few laps? Do I need to be registered etc? How much is this going to cost me?

Saturday practice is usually all day and normally for only motorcycles on motorcycle race weekends, but this Saturday is Kart races in the morn/afternoon. I think it's $30 and you pay when you show up, no registration required (just have proper gear for riding). So if you wanted to come out in the evening tomorrow, I heard sometime after 2pm the Karts should finish (either way you'll have to wait for them no matter the time) - and my guess is that they will give a discounted rate for the shortened time, but no guarantee. Saturdays are run by PKA, the Kart club.

Sunday you can ride but would have to pay the registration fees for OMRRA (see website for pricing and pre reg form on the forms page for more info on that). Also if you run OMRRA, your bike would need to pass safety tech as well as your gear.

I couldnt make it out today but I plan to check it out sometime. I was also wondering if anyone local is selling there bikes for under 1k. Anyway let me know and thanks for the info!
