Saturday, 13th: The day started out with plenty of sunshine but contrary to the posting on Planet Pocket Bike, racing was not scheduled until 6:00pm. After a full day of practice the clouds started to roll in. The first heat of the 40cc open saw Dave Fletterick get the holeshot but was quickly over taken by Nick Clements. The racing got really intense as Brent Hahn, Chuck Shorie, and one of the ER Boys team riders were all over Fletterick trying to get by. Nick Clements had a comfortable lead going into the last lap and won the heat. Meanwhile the battle continued all the way to the checkered flag as the riders went three wide into the finish, leaving Chuck Shorie the odd man out and crashing right at the flag.
40cc Open:
1) Nick Clements, Team ER Boys, Banshee
2) David Fletterick, Team XP Bikes.com, Banshee
3) Brent Hahn, Team XP Bikes.com, Banshee
The rain had started a little past the halfway mark during the 40cc open and was followed by a down pour and intense lighting storm. The racing was finished for the night.
Sunday, 14th: Again the sky’s appeared threatening and practice was cancelled in favor of getting racing in. The first heat of the 40cc Open saw Nick Clements again take the lead followed by Fletterick, Shorie, Hahn, and Frank Toth. The track had some extremely wet portions leaving riders having to back off or slide out. Nick Cvelbar threw a chain going into the straight and lost in. Chuck Shorie was totally committed coming out of the turn and had no chance to move and slammed into Cvelbar knocking both riders out of the race. As riders negotiated the wet track the race heated up. Nick Clements continued to shine and held off Frank Toth for the win. Again the rains hit after the first set of heats and the riders decided to call it a day.
Super Production:
1) Nick Clements, Team ER Boys, Banshee
2) Frank Toth, Team Fastline, Blata
3) David Fletterick, Team XP Bikes.com, Banshee
40cc Open:

50cc Open:

Do to temperament and frustration, the Promoter Chuck Shorie had enough and gave up on the day of racing. The race results posted may be slightly inaccurate do to the confusion of having the race promoter leave, leaving the scoring and organization in a mess. Scott Zimmerman took over and did a fine job picking up the pieces. I apologize for any one that might have been slighted in this newsletter. I have been involved in racing motorcycles for over 30yrs. And had never seen a Race Promoter pickup and leave halfway through an event.
Congratulations to all that helped complete the event as once again the rain shorten the race day.
The weekend did have highlights as Aaron Smith showed up with his trick ramps and pulled off not one, but two back flips on his modified KXL-110. The cloud loved it and thanks to Aaron for coming out. Everyone was also treated to stunts preformed by the riders from ER Boys Racing as the group did various stunts such as Stoppies, Wheelies and a host of unseen tricks.

The classes were eliminated for Sunday's race with no explaination. As the results showed, the Banshee's made up for it... Rumors at the track were surfacing that the Banshee's seemed to pull on all of the European bikes down the long straight...
damn dave *** cant even mention your team mate that had second place in the super production untill the crash on the second to last lap (i will have the vid up in a few days) and i finished behind you ( after i wheelied into bret off the starting line)in the open when chuck crashed! anyway all i can say is we showed that the chinese bikes can hang if not win on the track with some engineering! i also want to say a big thank you to Nick (b&n minimoto) for all the fun and crazy stunts and to Brent for getting my wife looped! see all you guys next race!

Hey dom i sitting here watching the videos Just wanted to say thanks for the block when i was racing hard with frank and then Craig gave me a finish block If not i would of been in big trouble
Yeah! I will definitely say that Frank has some skills on that pocket bike of his. Nice riding Frank. I am looking foward to racing against you again sometime. Hopefully my chinese rear tire doesn't blowout and we could have some fun mixing it up on the track. Nice racing everyone. Overall it was a great weekend.
Congratulations to all of you, especially Dave & Brent who represented Team XPBikes.com extremely well. Further congratulations to Nick Clements & Frank Toth for their accomplishments. Nick, let us know if you need anything. We'll continue to support you (even though you have your own team).
Dom, thank you very much for sharing your bike and knowledge to further advance the sport.

Throughout all the mayhem and confusion the one guy who kept me and Team XP Bikes.com together was Dominic. Thank you... Without your help my bike would have been packed back in the trailer and I would have been a spectator. Also I like to give you a round of applause for your work in developing the Banshee. You have helped me greatly and I won't forget it...
Dominic you did have a good race goin and do to the wet track conditions had some unfortunate luck... That bike of yours is a madman...

Nick, Dave, Brent and all the Banshee riders, come on out to Sandy Hook this Saturday, there'll be riders there coming from Virginia to New York and everyplace in between to race. We'll all be there from 9am to 5pm. Hope to see you make it.
It's a great track and JohnP does a great job with the trophies.
