ok. i know a little about the smaller bikes but not much... i just got my first job and i am wanting to get into the samller bike aswell... i want a cag for starter. a FF cag... im am confused about the 49 and 47cc... which is better? ive also heard the 47 is a actual 39cc... please le me know. and dont get mad cuz i searched and nothing came up to answer my questions...
This is such a debatable question.. IMO i prefer the 47cc. why? simple, usually the smaller bore you can achieve higher rpms from it. while the big bore you will get more torque but lower rpms. i tried them both, and im sticking with the 47cc. Then again, anyone one here who knows the different types of motors cags come with, one of prefered motors to have is the sy, (which i have) and just stock. it has plenty of torque, with the mods in the motor it only made it better. just my opinion. 47cc
corn i know its a lucky7 but im sure he ordered it from mpr so i just said raptor... think i should get the lucky 7 from mpr? lucky 7's are good...
i just want a lil bike to mess around on. i dont think im ready for a "race bike" since im not gonna go to a track and my x18's gonna be a beast anyway...
i want to make a sick a$$ paint job on it and maybe get a better pipe carb and sprockets and call it good...
so 47cc is the way to go im guessing???lol imma keep my eyes open for a decent 47cc... i can get a HF cag for $200shipped. but i want FF

The first question you need to ask YOURSELF, is do you have the money? Giving sellers offers without the money is not good, at all, nor is it acceptable. Trust me, i know. There is plenty of info on this site about cags (almost TOO much). If i had a cag, i would be overwelmed. Just buy one, they are all the same.
i figure they are all the same... im just gettin oppinions for either 47 or 49... either way its not gonna be ridden much.. i just want 1 lol
40mm bore will make the engine revv up easier, meaning better high end speed (barely noticable). The 44mm bore will have slightly more torque, and probly 25mph compared to 27-8mph. Either way you will be happy, hopefully at some point you will upgrade you top end. Its 39cc, not 47cc, they lie to you.
yea i know about the whole 39cc thing lol.. said it way up there. i want to make like 30mph... there are some mini bikes that cruise around here well put put around here and they have briggs and straton 3.5's in em. they do prolly 25-30... my x18's too fast and i have a heavy uhhh hand so i want something tht will hold them if not go faster lol.
the "raptor" is a lucky 7. i like that 1...
any1 know where to get the big bore cag pbu sells for a cheaper price??? i like the painted rims... i dont care if it is the big bore or not i just like the rims lol...
i think i will take your advice corn. i was gonna wait anyway this was only to see which is better and to share some thoughts about it...
if it comes down to it ill buy the same bike i did before but never got to even attempt to start.. it was the blade off of mpr. i got it and i had to sell it
as for x7bullits bike. he saying he has a raptor in like 4 threads lol.

My friends L7 was clocked at 47mph running a 40mm, chinese, one piece, simi-stock head with a real deal radar gun (running the same exact rear sprocket as mine (stock) and +1 tooth on the front...
I prefer the 44mm soas that mine can be BIGGER but I am weird...
