49cc pocket bike

i just got my 49cc pocket bike off ebay and it starts up and runs good for about 3 minutes and then all the sudden it bogs and then eventually stalls out. what is the problem with it? and it is also sometimes hard to start. if you know what the problem is could u please tell me how to fix it?

check your fuel line to make sure it is not kinked. you are probably running out of fuel so there is some kind of restriction, is your gas cap vented? make sure that it is or else it could be vacuum locking. check your fuel line and flow through to the carb along with the petcock, you will find your problem in there

Turn your idle screw in a tad clockwise to see if it helps.

it is your carb trust me on that 1 cuz that same thing happened to mines

well if it is a stock carb he is what you do, there is ur idle your nob of gas of how much gas you are sending to the engine, so if it does tht you are either getting too much gas or too little gas to the engine or just maybe you are getting too much air to the engin to do this set your ilde high and the gold nob a little low and check if it does that and after if it does do the opposite low idle more gas and if that doesnt work you need a new carb if you want hear is my email eastsidepimp456@hotmail.com i have a new carb becouse i bought a new bike but i replaced that stock carb with a hp carb and i have that carb running sweet so email if u wanna c what we can work out

check the spark plug, the idle, and maybe an ajustment on the carb

yo i think well....no this is a carb problem...you should to check to see if there is crap in your carb....the same thing was happing to me and when i opened it up and took a look for my self i was amased by all the junk in my carb....ify want to go to the extra extent take off the carb fully and allow it to soak in like a bucket of gas over night the gass will eat up all the crud in the floats and also clean it....
