it'll run lean if you have an airleak try fixing that first because airleaks rob performance and it's just bad.

Re: Added a boost port tonight *pics*

I did this boost port mod to my stock cylinder and piston, and HOLY #¤&#¤&#¤& did she run after that! It has almost no bottom end, weak middle, but top end is nothing less than insane! This easily lets ur engine rev ALOT higher, so much infact that I dont dare to use that engine to often.. I havent measured the revs, but from the sound of it, I would say this mod threw on 3-4K rpm over stock..atleast..and atleast double power over stock through the rpm gains!!!
A funny story is that I at first thought I had completely wrecked the cylinder from doing this mod, because of the lowlow bottom end, and then it suddenly sort of "kicked in" when it got some revs, and boy did it kick in too, u should have seen the grin on my face.. With a proper racing pipe, and adjustable clutch this little engine truly can kick ***!

Re: Added a boost port tonight *pics*

so what is better? 1 boost port or 2? i prefer 1 as it seems more reliable and less likely to cause a cylinder to crack

here is my "homemade" 3rd port on a 44mm bore cag

Do you mean your bike in the avatar? if yes, that's not a lucky 7. Lucky 7 is a full fairings and has removable swing arm. The one in your avatar is a Half fairing cag.

basically take your needle and put into a electrical drill and slowly grind the sharp pointy tips on a fine sand paper. There is a how-to post....

For a boost port the save thing to do is go same height as transfer ports or even 1/2mm lower?
