Afew Questions

Hi my name is rob and i am going to buy a half fairing cagllari daytona pocket bike and i was wondering afew things I was told to clean out the gas tank if i just get my air compressor and tip the bike upside down will this clean it good enough. I was told that these bikes are preaty much junky and always break. However i dont intend on racing or jumping or abusing it. all that i really want to do is ride around nothing serious do you think mine will last awile if not abused i will however put many hrs of use on it i currently have a sport goped that i have had for 5 years. my cousins have to cag pocket bikes and i have riden them and they are a blast but they seem to have trouble with the rear sprockets comming lose , the chain popping off and exhaust breaking. CAN SOMEONE NAME SOME OF THE MOST COMMON BREAKS AND PROBLEMS WITH THESE BIKES.

these bikes have too many problems to name but if you maintain it, ie....keep it lubed, keep it clean, you should be able to keep it for a fair amount of time.

The parts that you mentioned are the most common problems. I would replace any bolt you can with a high grade bolt, check out McMaster-Carr online, they have any bolt you'd need. Pick up a screw extractor (E-Z Out) too, the bolts tend to break just trying to remove them.
